About Club Campestre
Club Campestre San José is a gated, master-planned golf community of more than 550 acres, laid out over the rolling foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna directly behind San José del Cabo. It was developed by Grupo Questro, the group also behind Puerto Los Cabos and Cabo Real. The setting is inland and elevated, with the Sea of Cortez in view across much of the site. Los Cabos International Airport is about fifteen minutes away, downtown San José del Cabo about five, and the Marina at Puerto Los Cabos about five.
The community is organised into low-density neighbourhoods — among them Cora, Costarena, La Cañada, La Cima, Los Valles, Montecitos, Pueblo Campestre, Solesta, Vista Hermosa and Vista Lagos — offering condominiums, townhomes, fairway villas, full-ownership single-family homes and custom home sites. An eighteen-hole Nicklaus Design course runs through the centre of the plan. Amenities include a clubhouse, pro shop and practice facilities, tennis and pickleball courts, a fitness centre, parks and walking and biking trails, plus a 32,000-square-foot private beach club on the Sea of Cortez. Entry is gated and staffed.
Because it sits behind town rather than on the coast highway, Club Campestre trades a beachfront address for space, quiet and elevation. San José del Cabo’s historic centre and gallery district and the Marina at Puerto Los Cabos are a short drive. Costa Azul, the region’s best-known surf break, is close by, and Palmilla Beach — one of the area’s Blue Flag swimmable beaches — is roughly three and a half miles from the community. It works for golfers, families and buyers who want a year-round house rather than a lock-and-leave condominium.
